Family portal
Parents see lessons, notes, progress, term reports and invoices, pay by card and message the school from their phone.

Channels and direct messages for staff, conversations with families, lesson threads, announcements that ask to be acknowledged, outreach by e-mail or text to everyone or a group, a designed newsletter, and an events board with RSVPs.
Staff channels and direct messages, conversations between a family and the school, and a thread on each lesson for notes and questions. Realtime updates, attachments, and a retention rule the school chooses: people may delete their own messages from view, or nothing is ever deleted. Edited and removed messages always stay reviewable by administrators.
Post an announcement to everyone, to staff or to families, now or scheduled. Recipients acknowledge it, and the office sees who has not yet. Announcements also flow into the newsletter for their period.
From Email & texts the office writes in its own words — five classes this afternoon, a concert notice, a fee change — to the whole school, a group, a host school or particular people, by e-mail, text or both. Texts are signed with the school’s name. Every message is logged with where it got to.
Write a short intro and pick a period; Muzeqo gathers that period’s announcements and upcoming events for the audience into one designed e-mail, shows a preview, and sends it with a log entry. Families get the family side only; staff readers of an “everyone” letter get the staff items too. Sending the same draft twice sends once.
Staff post an event for an audience — the office to anyone, a teacher to the families of their own students. Publishing notifies the audience in-app, by e-mail and by text for those who opted in; everyone who has not declined is reminded the day before; cancelling tells everyone who said they were coming. Families RSVP from their portal and may suggest an event for the office to publish or turn down.
In the catalogue
One line each here; the full list, by group, is Everything Muzeqo provides. Each name opens its group there.
Changes, cancellations and restored lessons reach families and teachers in-app, by e-mail and by text where opted in.
Staff channels (public or private), direct messages, a conversation per family, a student thread and a thread per lesson, with mentions, attachments, emoji, edit and delete per the school’s rule, read marks, search, archive and a per-conversation notification level.
No private teacher-to-minor chats by default, guardians as the route for minors, the office optionally always in parent conversations, switches for adult-student and under-18 messaging and for teachers seeing guardian contact details, and a keep-every-message rule.
Staff get a suggested reply in family conversations from the recent messages with names, e-mails, phones and links masked; needs Muzeqo AI on for the school.
On a plan with texts, one-way messages go from Muzeqo’s shared Australian sender signed with the school’s name; local mobile numbers are normalised to +61, quiet hours hold texts overnight in school time, and the monthly allowance is shown.
A School-plan school applies for its own Australian mobile number (two-way) or sender name (one-way) with the ACMA documents and a one-off setup fee; Muzeqo lodges the application, tracks it by ticket and activates it.
With the school’s own number (the School-plan add-on), replies texted back route into the right conversation and delivery receipts are recorded; on the shared sender only STOP is routed.
Publish to all staff, teachers, parents or selected people, now or scheduled, with expiry, pin and attachment; recipients see it on their home screen, acknowledge it and are reminded if they don’t, and families without a login are e-mailed.
Concerts, open days and working bees for everyone, all families, a group, a host school, one teacher’s families or staff; families RSVP with headcount, capacity is enforced, everyone is reminded the day before, and families can suggest an event for the office to publish.
Write a short intro (or let Muzeqo AI draft it, which needs Muzeqo AI on for the school) and the period’s announcements and upcoming events are gathered into one designed e-mail for the chosen audience, with preview and send log.
Write to the whole school, all teachers, a group, a host school or particular people by e-mail, text or both, signed with the school’s name or its own sender, with a per-message delivery log.
A bell with the newest notices, a page of every school’s notices, and per-category choices of in-app, e-mail, text and push (lesson reminders, changes, notes, messages, invoices, payslips, events, holidays and more), with security notices always on.
Open portals refresh badges and lists moments after a change; browsers and installed home-screen apps get push notifications per device once the server’s push keys are set, and a push carries no content: the notice is fetched on tap with the person’s own session.
Every text carries a short link where the recipient stops texts from that school, the same as texting STOP, and can turn them back on.
Every notice e-mail and push opens in the notice’s own school and in the reader’s own portal, even when they belong to several schools.
Lesson reminders, change notices, invoice reminders, late fees, scheduled invoices, receipts, failed-payment notices, Auto Pay, pay runs and scheduled announcements run nightly per school, with toggles and a recent e-mail and text outbox.

Questions
Each plan includes a number of texts a month (50 on Solo, 200 on Studio, 1,000 on School). Texts a month are reported on the Plan tab; e-mail and in-app messages are unlimited. Your own number or sender name comes with the School plan ($99 one-off setup (incl. GST)).
Conversations between families and the school are on by default and reviewable by administrators. Private teacher-to-under-18 messaging is off unless the school enables it under Settings → Messaging & safety.
